Terms of Service

Last updated October 25, 2026

Short version: we quote honestly and we confirm the final price before we start. The longer version is below.

Draft — pending legal review. These terms are a working draft for the Shoreline shop and are not yet in force.

01Using this site

By browsing this website, building a proposal or sending us a message, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the site — call the shop instead.

02Estimates are estimates

Prices shown online are starting points based on the vehicle and options you select. They are not a contract. Final pricing is confirmed by Midnight Window Tinting, Inc. after we review the vehicle, and appears on the final proposal you receive.

Condition matters: old film to remove, damaged paint, aftermarket panels or a vehicle that arrives heavily soiled can change the price or the time required. We tell you before we start, not after.

03Proposals, deposits and scheduling

A proposal is valid for the window shown on the document. Accepting a proposal reserves a drop-off slot. If a deposit is needed to hold it, your proposal says how much, and it is credited to the final invoice. The balance is due at pickup.

Deposits are taken through Square. Your card details go to Square directly and are never stored by us. How and when a deposit can be refunded if you cancel or move an appointment is set out on your proposal before you pay anything.

Life happens — let us know as early as you can if you need to move an appointment so we can give the slot to someone else.

04Messages from us

If you give us a phone number we may text you about your own job — proposal ready, appointment reminder, vehicle ready — when you have ticked the consent box. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Opting out never affects your job.

Emails are about your own job. To stop them, reply to one or call the shop. What we collect and who processes it is set out in our Privacy Policy.

05Your vehicle

You confirm you own the vehicle or are authorized to have work done on it. Please remove valuables before drop-off. We work carefully, but we can't be responsible for pre-existing damage, aftermarket electronics, or defects in paint or glass that only become visible once a surface is cleaned or a film is removed.

06Warranties

Any warranty on a film, coating or vinyl is described on your proposal and warranty document, and depends on the product you choose.

Warranties don't cover damage from accidents, abuse, automatic brush car washes, pressure washing an edge, or aftercare instructions that weren't followed.

07Window tint and Washington law

We install only window film that meets Washington's window tint law for your vehicle, unless you show us a physician's written verification that you need darker film. What is allowed depends on the window, on how the manufacturer classes the vehicle and on the factory glass and the film together, so we confirm it in person before any film goes on. Draft — pending legal review.

Washington's law also reaches the installer, so we will decline a shade we believe is not legal for your vehicle. Choosing a legal shade is still the vehicle owner's responsibility, and driving a vehicle that does not comply is the driver's traffic infraction. Draft — pending legal review.

08Content and photos

The text, layout, logos and imagery on this site belong to their respective owners and may not be reused without permission. Photos of completed work may be shared on our website or social media; tell us if you'd rather we didn't feature your vehicle.

09Limits

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to this website or a service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
